We are looking for Senior GIS / .NET Developer to work on a 2 year contract in Calgary, AB.

Required Skills/Experience
- Proven practical recent experience in designing and architecting GIS solutions using ESRI technologies in a client/server environment (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcObjects, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Engine, Geodatabase, etc.)    5 years
- Proven practical recent experience in enterprise-scale, multi-tiered, object-oriented application design and development    5 years
- Proven practical recent experience in database application development with SQL Server 5 Years
- Proven practical recent experience in GIS web development and analysis using ESRI technologies in a Intranet/Internet environment, using ASP.NET web application, CSS, XML,  JavaScript and web services    4 years
- Experienced with GIS web applications, ArcGIS Web services with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Explorer    2 years
- Proven practical recent experience in software development using Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET and ArcObjects.     4 years
- Experience in Windows application development (e.g. .NET WinForms apps, windows services, library apps, console apps)    3 years
- Experience with UML and design patterns    3 years
- Experience with GIS data formation, data migration processes and familiarity with data formation tools (eg FME, ArcToolbox, Label-ez, Geoprocessing, etc)    2 years
- Demonstrated and proven software development experience using .Net (1.0/2.0/3.0, VB.Net, Asp.Net, WCF) on medium to a large scale projects    6 years
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Application Development tools including Visual Studio.Net 2003/2005, SQL Server Management Studio to develop client-server and web applications in an n-tier, distributed applications environment.    6 years
- Strong understanding of service oriented architecture and Web Services based applications    4 years
- Experience with object-oriented design & application architecture    10 years
- Experience developing test plans, test cases and defect reports for client server and internet applications on mid/large software development projects    10 years
- Experience with an iterative software development methodologies and development life cycle    10 years
- Experience writing advanced SQL queries, scripts and stored procedures on SQL Server (T-SQL)    10 years
- Experience with the development of data models    10 years
- Experience with the development of application documentation including architectural, detailed design and user documentation.    5 years
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server reporting services    1 year

Recommended Skills/Experience   
- Experience with Rational tools e.g. RequisitePro, RSM, ClearCase    
- Experienced with software testing tools such as NUnit, Rational Test, etc    
- Experienced with system infrastructure, network, software deployment and implementation    
- Familiarity with network, active directory and application security    
- Demonstrated experience building test automation    
- Experience with the DevExpress 3-rd party components for Microsoft .Net.    
- Strong understanding of QA/QC principles within the software development lifecycle    
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
